What is your role at the company, and what are your key responsibilities?
Systems Technician – Service Team & On-Site Tech
How long have you been working in your current position, and what led you to this role?
I am approximately 1 year at KTI
Can you describe a typical day in your job?
My typical day starts with reviewing any pending issues and checking email for updates. A typical day will involve assisting clients with software and hardware related issues and working proactively on reoccurring tickets.
What do you enjoy most about your work at Kerkhoff Technologies?
At KTI, I enjoy working with other team members and collaborating to resolve technical issues.
What projects or accomplishments are you most proud of in your career?
When I first started at KTI, I was able to work with KTI project team on a project involving migration of on-premises active directory to Azure and assisted with testing as onsite tech.
How do you collaborate with other team members to achieve your goals?
I always stay in communication with colleagues via Teams. In addition, we have regular team meetings to discuss any pending issues.
What are some recent developments or innovations in your field that you find exciting?
I am also excited and concerned about AI, but mostly excited about it. It is a great technology that can help make problem solving more efficient.
What is your number 1 tech tip to our audience?
My number one tech tip is always to start with a least invasive troubleshooting method. Follow step by step technique to locate the root cause of an issue.

What is your favourite way to unwind after a long day at work?
When the weather is permitting, I prefer to engage in outdoor activities. Otherwise, I would spend time learning about new technologies and watch TV shows.
Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of work that you are passionate about?
During my free time, I like to play Flight Simulator 2020.
Are there any books, movies, or TV shows you have been enjoying lately?
Recently, I started watching a web series called The Gentlemen.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
I would like to visit Japan, especially Kyoto.
What is your favourite type of cuisine or restaurant, and what dish can you never resist ordering?
I enjoy all kinds of vegetarian dishes.
Do you have any pets? If so, tell us about them!
I don’t have any pets now. But looking forward to adopting a Shiba Inu.
What is your go-to music playlist or artist for getting pumped up before a busy day?
I enjoy music while driving. I enjoy all kinds of good music, but mostly listen to Punjabi, Hindi and English music.
Are there any charitable causes or organizations that you are passionate about and support?
I am not associated with any charitable causes or organization.
What is your favourite quote or piece of advice that you live by?
Do the right thing, even when no one is watching you.
Lastly, what do you enjoy most about being a part of the company’s team?
Working with team members to resolve technical issues.
